The production of radioactive labled substances in general but especially for nuclear medical
diagnostic, therapy and research requires a thorough quality control and certified radiochemical
purity of every single batch.
Chromatography on thin layer plates is an often used application.
Gita Star is a X-Y-Scanner for 2 TLC plates of 200x200mm controlled by a PC. The automatic measurement and evaluation program
is included in the system.
The scintillation probe can be energy calibrated using a Cs137-standard automatic calibration.
Many energy windows can be preprogrammed for various nuclides.
Up to 80 sample traces can be programmed in location, energy window, scan speed etc.
Chromatograms and reports are automatically measured, evaluated and printed.
