Conventional automatic synthesis units for PET applications are developed for the
synthesis of one particular compound. The amount of labour, components and
programming to modify such a synthesis unit to be suitable for another
compound is so high, that it is often not acceptable or even impossible.

raytest has developed a completely, comprehensive & flexible synthesis system,
which can be used for electrophilic or nucleophilic substitution and all feasible
synthesis processes within these principle reaction procedures.
The user can design
easily his synthesis process according to a published protocol or to his own idea
step by step. The raytest synthesis
system is so flexible, that the user can produce one compound today and - after
thorough, automatic cleaning - another compound two days later. Especially the
SynChrom R&D unit is a ultra high flexible device which supports
radiochemics to develop new tracers.
