Raytest    ISO 9001   How to find us

raytest Isotopenmessgeräte GmbH, headquartered in Straubenhardt, Germany, develops, manufactures and internationally sells instruments and solutions for different fields of the Life Sciences market.

Founded in 1980, raytest’s first products were detectors for radioactivity for a variety of applications. Broadening the field of applications, raytest started 1993 offering solutions for PET, such as instruments for quality control and synthesis and imaging of PET-tracers.

1990, raytest added instruments for Bio-Imaging to its product portfolio. Today's portfolio consists of laser scanning systems, cooled CCD-based instruments, SPECT, PET and CT for many different applications, such as Radioluminography, Gel Documentation, Fluorescence-, Multifluorescence and Luminescence Imaging as well as multimodal In-vivo Imaging.

raytest has its own team of experienced physicists, biologists, engineers and technicians for its own development of new products. The raytest development team is very much customer oriented and the successful test and application of new instruments by the customer is a long tradition at raytest.

raytest is manufacturing its products in house. raytest instruments are not “mass production units” but manufactured, assembled and tested by hand individually one-by-one. Scientific instruments for radioactivity detection require very special craftsmanship and a personnel with many years of experience.
