Quality Inspection
The test source array can
be used to check the linearity of the measurement system and for standardization
in 14C Radioluminography.
The test source array is a set of thirteen polymer standards with size of 10 mm x 10 mm x 0.2 mm. Twelve of them are made of 14C polymethacrylate with varying known specific activities covering more than five orders of magnitude. The thirteenth consist of unlabelled polymer for background determination. For purposes of identification each source has been colored differently.

The uniformity test source
is a sheet of 14C polymethacrylate with size of 400 mm x 230 mm x 1
mm.
The uniformity test source is use for quality control to check the homogeneity of measurement system consisting of Imaging Plates and a scanner from time to time according to Good Laboratory Praxis (GLP).
