| Micro- and macro-arrays are carrying high numbers of DNA-samples in a geometrically well defined pattern. Spotting of the array with robots organizes the array- pattern in grid and subgrid (up to three levels). Sample numbers vary between 500 and 100 000. Spots may have additional attributes like: empty, control, reference, or background.In general two different types of arrays can be distinguished: | ||
Low
density arrays on membranes (pitch >500 µ)
|
||
High density arrays on glas slides (pitch 50-500 µ)

| AIDA Array Evaluation software performs perfect data evaluation from all your
array experiments. |
